How are these prices calculated?

Practice premiums use a Black–Scholes model with a 4% annual interest assumption, no dividends, a 1.5% simulated spread plus a one-cent adjustment on each side, and the volatility below. They are not executable exchange quotes. One unit represents one share of price exposure.

Weekly practice expiries use Friday at 4 p.m. New York time and do not adjust for exchange holidays. Expired positions require a manually supplied practice settlement price.

TRY IT FOR YOURSELF

Call for up.
Put for down.

Above your strike, a call pays out at expiry. Below it, a put pays out. Your profit is the payout minus your premium.

Try both directions. Move the example stock price to see the payout and your profit or loss after the premium.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

$180 strike · $3 premium per unit · 10 units
$30 total premium. These are fixed example prices.

NVIDIA · AT EXPIRY$190.00

Options need a counterparty. A future liquidity vault could collect premiums and fund payouts when traders finish in the money.
